emerald isle salute!

post by dawn garcia |

"Better pass boldly into that other world, in the full glory of some passion, than fade and wither dismally with age." - James Joyce It wasn't too long ago I was lured by the beauty and sheer tenacity of the Irish। Winning a game show and indulging in the opportunity of a lifetime I enjoyed love, passion, fun, whiskey, food, scenery, vivacity, breath, music, sounds, stunning humanity, confounding perspective, green as green has never been seen before, and living. All in Dublin and the beauty surrounding it. Staying near Balls Bridge, walking every day through Grafton Street, the Trinity campus, stone streets, cafe's situated along the canals, which homed swan and beer cans, the island known as the Eye of Ireland (Howth), the Dart ... the experience has been engrained in my soul and has now tainted my vision that America is the best place to live. As much as I need it to be, I have found more beauty and freedom elsewhere. Not to digress, I simply want to say life has never been more indulgent and moving as my days spent in and within the Emerald Isle.
