wake up world and take notice!

A film that restores my faith in the Industry, as well as mankind. The tale of two brothers and an orphaned girl in the midst of religious and political chaos. Living in the deep blister of poverty, surviving in the "slums" of Dubai, these three characters learn that living and being free are two very different things. The story's foundation is set on the stage of India's, "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" though what is discovered it not everyone does it for the money. A powerful story that rips your heart out, stomps on it, and then makes it soar with joy. This is a one of a kind film and the actors: Dev Patel, Freida Pinto, Madhur Mittal, Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail, Ayush Mahesh Khedekar, Tanay Chheda, Ashutosh Lobo Gajiwala, Tanvi Ganesh Lonkar - well, every single one should get an award. The grit and truth exposed throughout this film connects you to all human beings - it doesn't matter where you're from. We are all struggling in some way and we should learn never to take for granted the beauty given to us in the form of people, children, friends, lovers, countries, cities, art - all of which play a crucial role in our evoloving into a better people. I implore all of you to go and see this film. When I entered the theatre I had very high expectations given the mass quantities of Awards it has received and been nominated for. Even still, I found it was even more important and beautiful, heart wrenching and prolific than critics had deemed. You will not be disappointed.
