Sometimes I think we get lost in the actual happenings of something only to find, not too far down the line, that the moment we believed would crush us only forced us to rise to the occasion. I can't wait on my life to turn out the way I want. I have to make my life turn out the way I want ... the way I need. Call it selfish, but to me, happiness and joy and freedom is all but essential to breathing.
