I love that once in a while amidst tragedy and heartache you hear a song and it just makes you want to move and yes, dance it out. I know that there are plenty of realists and cynics in this world and while they have their place, I'm an idealist at heart. I believe in humanity's ability to rise above the surface and find the finely wound thread that ties us all together. We are all bound by the same desires. The desire to be loved and to succeed and to have happiness and while it seems life works tirelessly to throw us off track, we can't give in that easily. When something tragic happens or something causes you to doubt, just remember that love really can pull you through. But if you turn it away, you will never have the peace you seek. Go through your playlist and find a few good songs and dance it out! Listen and move and forget the world for a few minutes. Forget the things that are weighing you down and focus on whatever it is that feeds you and allows you to smile through it all.
